Tobacco Signage

Starting July 1, 2008 Indiana law requires a retail store selling tobacco to post the following information regarding tobacco sales and use on a sign displayed at each cash register where tobacco is sold.

 

The sign will be 5 3/4” X 6 3/4” in color with an adhesive backing.

 

Please note that a store selling tobacco is required to have a sign posted at each register where tobacco is sold. Failure to post the required tobacco warning sign can result in fines ranging typically from $50 to $150. Maximum fines are $500.
